On the afternoon of June 26, under the leadership of President Peng Changcao, 10 leading teachers of the college went to Huizhou state-owned oil field forest farm to discuss and accelerate the cooperation of production, education and research. Huang Zhongqiang, deputy director of Huizhou Forestry Bureau, Chen Zhiming, deputy investigator and Zeng Jianhui, director of oilfield Forest Farm attended the meeting.
President Peng Changcao introduced the general situation of the college and the basic situation of discipline construction. He emphasized the original intention and goal of building practical teaching base and joint training graduate student base with oilfield forest farm, and said that the college will continue to increase resource integration, formulate a series of programs on forest farm planning and in-depth cooperation, and strive to build provincial and national demonstration bases as soon as possible.
At the meeting, the two sides also discussed issues such as joint application for forestry innovation projects in Guangdong Province. After the meeting, participants held the licensing ceremony of South China Agricultural University joint training graduate base and South China Agricultural University College of forestry and landscape architecture practice teaching base in the oilfield forest farm.
