Recently, Dr. Fan Yanping, Professor of our college, leading expert of Conghua provincial flower Industrial Park and director of Flower Research Center, received an exclusive interview from CCTV, walked into Conghua Wanhua garden, introduced the problems faced by flower enterprises under the epidemic situation, and how our school provided scientific guidance for relevant flower enterprises, and helped them to resume production and sales.
Guangzhou Conghua wanhuayuan has more than 50 flower enterprises, which is an important production base of small potted flowers in Guangdong and even in China. Affected by the epidemic, the employees of the enterprise could not rework normally, the production was lagging behind, and the sales fell seriously. Professor Fan Yanping's team actively went deep into the enterprise investigation to understand the current difficulties faced by flower enterprises, and put forward suggestions for the resumption of production and sales of different types of flower products. On the one hand, for the enterprises that produce flowers, it is suggested that they should breed seedlings as soon as possible and resume production in the next season; for the enterprises that produce foliage plants, they should strengthen the management of fertilizer and water for unsalable products, and continue to cultivate small pots for large ones; on the other hand, with the help of the network platform and the recovered logistics platform, they should safely produce and sell online without contact, so as to increase the strength of online sales. It is understood that at present, the production and sales of Guangzhou Zhengxin Horticulture Co., Ltd. have recovered to 80% of the pre epidemic sales.
