The forestry planning and Design Institute of South China Agricultural University was established in 2000, with grade B qualification. Since its establishment, the planning and Design Institute has carried out project planning and construction for many places. Investigation projects include: investigation and evaluation of fir forest damaged by ice and snow disaster in Tianjingshan forest farm, Dongguan rare botanical garden, investigation report of zhongfeldspar deep processing forest land in Jiaoling County, the second natural resource investigation of nanshaui Lake National Wetland Park in Ruyuan, Guangdong Province, etc.; planning projects include: Forestry Development Planning of Dapeng New Area in Shenzhen, forestry development planning of 12th Five Year Plan in Shaoguan City, etc Planning and research, planning and design of the fourth phase of the peach garden of Nanguo, master planning of Maoming Forest Park, etc.
